Raising the profile of adult social care
At Wessex Care, we value our staff and with continuous expansion, we are always looking for new members to join the Wessex Care family. Some of our staff have been with us for over 15 years and we aim to support them in any way we can.
In October 2019, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) launched a new recruitment campaign which will run for 6 months and we are delighted to see a boost in raising the profile of adult social care.
The campaign is named ‘Everyday is different’ and aims to improve understanding and awareness of what it is like to work in adult social care to help inspire more people to develop careers in this sector.
Working in this sector can be a very rewarding career path, personally and professionally. We are pleased to see how the advertising in this new campaign is evolving, to represent a more realistic view of the breadth and diversity of the care sector and reflects feedback from previous campaigns.
You can follow ‘Work in Social Care’ on Facebook to see some great case study examples of people that work in the care industry and follow the campaign: https://www.facebook.com/everydayisdifferent
