Residential Care [Without nursing]

Residential Care [Without nursing] in Salisbury

Specialist provision of adult & older person residential care service [without nursing] where out of choice or frailty the adult or older person chooses or needs to live in a supported / protective environment where all their daily needs for comfort, warmth, nutrition, companionship, and mental health support are available in the home 24hrs per day. Residential Care is not suitable for anyone who requires 24 hour nursing care.

Range of needs the service is intended to meet, support and improve where possible.

  • Frail adult, older person
  • Memory issues and or early stage dementia / Mental Health support
  • Diabetes
  • Incontinence
  • Controlled epilepsy
  • All other conditions specific to the care of the older person
  • Crisis admissions to support intensive home care and avoid hospital admissions
  • Mild learning disability for short-term respite
  • Baths to support community care
  • Holiday short stay respite relief
  • Daily respite

24hr all year round staffed care is provided.

Residential Nursing Care in Salisbury

Specialist provision of residential nursing care service to adults & older people of either gender whose nursing care needs have resulted from the ageing process or who require nursing care as a result of the onset of an illness or medical / surgical issue. This may be a short-term respite / rehabilitation or long-term residential care requirement.

Range of needs the home is intended to meet, support and improve where possible.

Residential Mental Health Care [without nursing]

Residential Mental Health Care [without nursing], Salisbury

Specialist residential care service [without nursing] for adults and older people who have a mental health challenge which may include complex dementia where they require 24 hr specialist residential care to support and protect the individuals wellbeing. This may be a short-term respite or long-term residential care requirement.

Range of needs the service is intended to meet, support and improve where possible.

  • Frail adult, older person
  • Mid to latter stage dementia, complex dementia
  • Other mental health challenges
  • Above issues may also include support needs for e.g. learning disability, Diabetes, incontinence, controlled epilepsy, other conditions specific to the care of the older person

  • Intermediate Care for rehabilitation

Specialist Community Support Services for adults and older people offers true “choice and control” to people managing their care support needs at home. The service is focused at maintaining /improving individuals dignity, independence and safety when living in the community.

The service provides advice, support and practical help so people can achieve what is “important to” and “important for” them.
